Vulkanland Sparkling Wine & Kulinarium
The grapes that grow in the idyllic gardens around the Meister are destined for something truly masterful – they are transformed in our in-house sparkling wine manufactory using the traditional Champagne method into sparkling masterpieces. We invite you to taste them at the Meister Kulinarium, located right next to the Zotter Chocolate Factory. This family-run delicatessen shop offers not only our Meister Sparkling Wine but also many other products from the Steirisches Vulkanland that you can try and purchase.

Coming from Vienna: Take the A2 Südautobahn in the direction of Graz until exit 138 Ilz/Fürstenfeld. Then turn left onto the B65 and drive towards Ilz. In the centre of the town turn left towards Riegersburg/Feldbach on the B66 (Gleichenberger Bundesstraße). Immediately after the end of Riegersburg turn left (direction Badesee), about 700m after that (follow the signpost) turn left again, after 500m up the hill until the road ends.

Family Meister
We are not only called masters, we are also masters – masters of the many little things that make our hotel in Riegersburg something special.
This is exactly our family tradition. We combine skilled craftsmanship with the courage to implement new ideas and follow our passion.
Over the last generations, our farm on Hofberg has transformed into a small winery with a wine tavern, which in turn led to the development of the current sparkling wine manufacturing.
Being hosts is also in our blood. Starting with a small bed and breakfast, our family has welcomed guests to our beautifully situated location in the green for many years.
