The B&B hotel "DIE BERGQUELLE" is located directly at the slopes of the Achterjet base station in Snow Space Salzburg. Ski piste, cross-country skiing course, restaurants and some shops are nearby. The rooms are well furnished: shower/WC, TV, safe, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, mini fridge and most rooms have a balcony. The perfect day starts with a good, healthy breakfast - starting with the alluring aroma of freshly brewed coffee, every guest will be spoilt for choice with our rich and ample breakfast buffet. After skiing or cross country skiing you can recover at the small but perfectly formed spa area which includes a Finnish sauna, steam bath and Physiotherm infrared cabin. Let yourself be pampered by the familiar, homey atmosphere of our house and feel at home with a glass of wine or "just" a small snack in our cosy restaurant. Convince yourself of the alpine top location in the middle of Flachau, right next to the slopes - "Ski in / Ski out".

Rettenwender
We, the Rettenwender family, look back on a long tradition as hosts. In 1965 the parent house "Berghof" was established by Franz Rettenwender Senior as the first hospitality business in Sankt Johann-Alpendorf. In 2016, the second operation the B&B Hotel "DIE BERGQUELLE" at the Achterjet in Flachau was opened by Franz Rettenwender jun. in the third generation.
Under dynamic, young leadership, the house exudes cordiality, liveliness and a family feel-good atmosphere. It is our special concern to take time for our guests, to pamper you with small amenities and to prepare you an unforgettable holiday.
Warm hospitality means more to us than just the paper it is written on, even our staff undertake day-to-day tasks with the same warm feeling.
