In Sloho, the alpine idyll serves as the impressive backdrop that accompanies you in every category while enjoying the view. And inside? Here, nine lovingly designed vacation apartments await you, each a little unique – individually furnished with custom carpentry, Styrian reclaimed wood, and personal heirlooms from Slovenia.
The hosts' favorite colors bring the colorful mountain life into the apartments, and local floral decorations add a touch of romance and homely warmth. In each apartment, you will find:
- a fully equipped kitchen
- your own balcony
- and – because there’s nothing cozier – a wood stove for watching the flames
Food & Drink – just as you like it
In the morning, we bring you fresh pastries or our lovingly prepared breakfast basket right to your apartment door. When you “stop by” in the house, you’ll discover homemade meals in jars, small delicacies for cooking yourself, or a picnic backpack full of delights for your day in nature.
Want to treat yourself or take up the cooking spoon? Here you have the choice:
- On Mondays and Tuesdays, there’s hearty goulash from Mama Jelka available by pre-order
- Or you can opt for the Sloho pasta basket with everything you need for a delicious pasta Bolognese
Nature. Freedom. Movement. The hiking and skiing area leads right past Sloho – you are right in the midst of nature. Whether you are sporty or prefer to relax: Here, your mountain moment begins right at your doorstep.
Sauna & Relaxation – unwind as you like. The Swiss pine sauna is available to all guests – by prior reservation and perfect for unwinding after active days in the mountains. For those who prefer exclusivity, we recommend a Mountain View apartment with a private panoramic sauna, a personal relaxation area, and a view of the surrounding peaks.
Sloho – that is a vacation with heart, flavor, and mountain views. And plenty of space for discovering, marveling, and simply being.

Slodnjak
We are the Slodnjak family. Damira, Jelka and Vladi. Typical family, we are quite different. Vladi, the jack-of-all-trades, always needs something to do. Jelka is the spontaneous one who cares a lot about health. And Damira has a certain eye for beauty. Because we can each do and like different things, we complete each other perfectly. What else is connecting us? The deep love between parents and daughter and the passion of being hosts. That's why Sloho exists. Your apartment house with a Slovenian host family in the smallest municipality in Styria, the idillic village named Hohentauern.

- You booked a Bergschau’n apartment? Then you'll find your personal wellness bag along with a sauna towel & bathrobe already in the apartment. To protect the environment, we avoid disposable products and therefore ask you to bring your own wellness slippers from home
