The Groggerhof is a traditional country inn in the heart of Obdach, Upper Styria – family-owned since 1630. The charming hotel combines lovingly preserved historical ambiance with stylish Biedermeier decor and modern comfort. Each room is uniquely designed due to the traditional construction style and is distinct in size and character.
Enjoy Styrian delicacies and fine drops from the in-house wine cellar in the cozy Zirbenstube – a place that invites you to savor and linger. The 2,000 m² garden with pool, playground, and old fruit trees offers relaxation for young and old – perfect for relaxing hours in the greenery.
The kitchen of Groggerhof pampers you with traditional Austrian dishes, prepared with house-made products as well as ingredients from carefully selected organic farms in the region. A wide selection of wines and other beverages rounds off the culinary experience.
Obdach and its surroundings offer a variety of recreational opportunities in every season:
In winter, well-groomed slopes, cross-country ski trails, and snowboard tracks invite you to enjoy the snow. In summer, you can expect a true paradise for hiking and mountain biking – with over 330 km of marked paths and numerous rustic alpine huts along the routes.
A special highlight for motorsport fans: The Red Bull Ring in Spielberg is just a 20-minute drive away and easily accessible.

Arrival - Departure
For late arrivals, the key will be left in the Keyboy key safe at the rear entrance in the courtyard. Parking is available in the courtyard and opposite in front of or behind the Raiffeisenbank in Obdach (depending on availability). A free E-charging station is available for house guests.
