The Steiner House is quietly located on the outskirts of the village, yet only a five-minute walk from the center. All rooms are facing east or south, offering plenty of light and a pleasant view.
From here, you have an ideal starting point for wonderful hikes as well as mountain, cycling, and mountain biking tours. In winter, you can expect a ski lift, ice rink, curling rink, opportunities for snowshoe hiking, and even exciting husky sled rides in the immediate vicinity.
There is also much to discover in the village itself: shopping options, inns, a pastry shop, a doctor with a pharmacy, a spa clinic, a bus stop, ski lift, toboggan run, curling, ice skating, snowshoe hiking, the show mine, and the Theo studio stage. A historic circular trail through the market invites further exploration.
In just a few minutes, you can reach the Lachtal ski resort, the winter sports resort of Hohentauern, the Aqualux thermal baths in Fohnsdorf, or the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg.

Contact & Directions
Coming from the north, pass the E56 up to the junction Wels West via Passau. Take the E57 (A9) and follow the signs to Voralpenkreuz. Follow the direction Graz through the toll road Bosrucktunnel. In Trieben, take the L114 in the direction of Judenburg via Hohentauern. After 33 km turn right in the direction of Oberzeiring, through the village to Gasthaus Kump and turn right into Berghofstrasse, after 100 m you are at the destination.
From the east, take the Murtal - Schnellstraße via St. Michael towards Klagenfurt. Shortly after the end of the stretch (near Judenburg) turn right shortly after Rotenthurm in direction Hohentauern (L 114). After about 15 km turn left to Oberzeiring. Then through the village to the Gasthaus Kump and turn right into Berghofstrasse, after 100 m you are at the destination.
Coming from the south and west, drive via Scheifling, Unzmarkt in the direction of Judenburg and turn left shortly after St. Peter. Then follow the L114 as described above.
