The Gruber family's farm is located at the beginning of the village of Gaal, on the beautiful Schattenberg. In this quiet and sunny location you can relax body and soul in summer and winter and recharge your batteries for everyday life. Gaal is located in the beautiful Murtal valley and has just as much to offer friends of unspoilt nature as it does adventure-hungry day guests. In the "front" part of Gaal you will find many sporting facilities for guests such as the Gaal ski lifts, the swimming pond, the curling and ice skating rink, the tennis court and inns which offer specialities depending on the season.
Haus Gruber offers rooms with rural flair, which are equipped with shower, WC, satellite TV, WLAN and mountain/forest views. For your culinary pleasure we offer you a rich breakfast, which consists mainly of organic products from our own farm.
Furthermore, our farm is only 11 km (10 minutes by car) from the newly opened Red Bull Ring, where countless motorsport events and concerts are organised throughout the year. Just a few kilometres away is also the Zeltweg airfield, where the Air Power is held and is just as big a spectacle as the countless events at the Red Bull Ring.However, if you prefer peace and quiet, we can offer relaxation and tranquillity on the farm. In the immediate vicinity you have the opportunity to explore the many hiking trails of the Gaal and to climb the various peaks of the region. One of the most beautiful hiking routes is the route to the Maria Loretto church and the highest pilgrimage church in the Eastern Alps, Maria Schnee. There are 23 different peaks over 2,000 m to choose from for hikes in the Gaal. For nature lovers, there is also the beautiful, unspoilt Ingeringsee lake, which is a breathtaking sight at any time of year.
