Quiet & idyllic - welcome to the Almhaus "Freitaghube"
The Almhaus "Freitaghube" is located in the Murtal on the sunny side at an altitude of 1,100 meters, offering a magnificent view of the Seckauer Alps. The proximity to the forest, the meadows, and the wonderful view into the valley make the hearts of hikers and nature lovers beat faster. In complete tranquility and idyllic seclusion, families and groups can enjoy the beauty of the mountains.
The Almhaus features 3 double rooms, a bathroom with shower and WC, as well as a bathroom with a bathtub, a living room, kitchen, hunting room, and a common room.
In the immediate vicinity, you can discover numerous attractive excursion destinations (Red Bull Ring, Aqualux Therme Fohnsdorf, Abbey Seckau, Gaaler Ski Lift, VW Beetle Museum, Planetarium, and much more) or simply hike in the summer or toboggan in the winter on-site. Around the hut, there are numerous retreat areas to relax. A charcoal grill, seating areas, and sun loungers are available for you. Enjoy the moment, far away from the crowds. The Schlaffer family looks forward to seeing you!
PS: The hut is rented out year-round and is easily accessible by car.
