“Joy in singing” – this is the motto under which the vocal ensemble Mittendrin from St. Michael has been thrilling audiences for many years. Founded in 1996, the ensemble is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year with great gratitude and pride. For 15 years, Christian Rehrl-Leopold has led Mittendrin with passion, humor, and a keen sense of sound and community. His rousing arrangements – often unusual and creative adaptations of well-known rock and pop songs – characterize the ensemble's unmistakable style.
The anniversary concert is a look back at many beautiful musical moments and, at the same time, a look ahead to the future: continued joy in singing and music that touches the heart.
