Carnival parade in Knittelfeld
After a four-year break, the traditional big Knittelfeld carnival parade will take place again on Shrove Tuesday, 17 February 2026.
As in previous years, prizes will be awarded for the most beautiful masks and groups:
- Large groups of 11 people or more: 1st EUR 350.00 2nd EUR 250.00 3rd EUR 150.00
- individual masks and small groups of up to 10 people: 1. EUR 200.00 2. EUR 150.00 3. EUR 100.00
- Original mask: 1. EUR 500.00
- Most beautiful children's masks: 3 x 1 savings book from Steiermärkische Sparkasse Knittelfeld worth EUR 35.00
