A challenging hike to one of the highest peaks in the Seckau Alps.
From the small "Hochreichart" car park, the well-marked hiking trail leads through the forest and along a forest road to the beginning of the Branstättergraben. We then hike steeply uphill, first through the forest and later above the tree line to the Brandstättertörl at 2021m. We then climb another 400 metres of altitude on the steep south-eastern flank to the summit of the Hochreichart at 2416 m. The way back is via the ascent route. The way back is via the ascent route.

Follow the well-marked trail along forest paths, forest roads, steep tracks and over the ridge.
A challenging but largely unmarked circular tour with easy climbing passages leads from the Hochreichart over the Hirschkarlgrat to the Geierhaupt and over the Saurücken back to the Ingeringsee.
