This tour leads from Hohentauern in the Murtal adventure region up to the Hasensattel and downhill into the Triebental valley.The starting point for this great tour is the Alpenhotel Lanz directly in Hohentauern in the Murtal adventure region. From there, take the old federal road (turn half-right after the Alpenhotel Lanz) to the marked junction "Hasensattel". Take the well-marked forest path to the Hasensattel and continue into the Triebental valley.

Via the S 36 coming from Judenburg, turn off at Furth, follow the signs for Triebener-Tauern Straße B114 for approx. 35km.
Or coming via the A9, take the Trieben exit and follow the signs to Judenburg and Hohentauern through the village of Trieben for approx. 10 km.
The starting point is the Alpenhotel Lanz in Hohentaerun. From there, take the old federal road (turn half-right after Alpenhotel Lanz) to the marked turn-off "Hasensattel".
From here on well-marked forest roads to the Hasensattel and on to the entrance to the Triebental.
Here you can either turn right into the back Triebental to Bergerhube or take the main road or the same route back to Hohentauern or let the Tauerntaxi pick you up if you have already cycled enough
Alternatively, once you arrive at the Triebental entrance, you can also extend the Triebenstein loop past the Brodjäger inn.
