The market town of Pöls-Oberkurzheim is a municipality in the district of Murtal. It was created in 2013 through the merger of the market town of Pöls and the municipality of Oberkurzheim. The municipality sees itself as a "quality of life municipality at the interface of industry and living space". It offers its residents and visitors a wide range of infrastructure and leisure facilities. These include the redesign of the market square into a barrier-free square.
The municipality of Pöls-Oberkurzheim is located in the district of Murtal and has around 3,000 inhabitants.
