Fresh ham bacon, square bacon and bacon from the Turopolje pig. Helmut Jandl, the young man from Murtal, fattened the animals as his father once did. The family has always run the farm very independently and grows the feed for the animals themselves. Slaughtering is done as stress-free as possible on the spot. The meat is marketed directly from the farm without any middlemen. His approximately 100 pigs have an outdoor run and twice as much space as is required for conventional animal husbandry in Austria.
