Cross-country skiing centre Hohentauern
Hohentauern
On the sunny high plateau of Hohentauern, active winter sports enthusiasts will find the perfect spot: Here, due to the altitude, not only are the snow conditions optimal, but also the ideal circumstances to indulge in Nordic disciplines. Five access points to the ski trails and a network of trails over 13 kilometers long ensure that there is a suitable route for everyone.
Order season passes here.
Those who regularly practice cross-country skiing do good for their body and health. This is also known in the Hohentauern region, which is why they have developed a network of trails in collaboration with sports doctors that is suitable for all performance levels. In the midst of the magnificent mountain world of the Niedere Tauern, one can improve their fitness while enjoying the wonderful landscape.
A hiking trail about 5 km long in the Triebental completes the offer. And for those seeking more winter activities, they can also exhaust themselves nearby through skiing, winter triathlons, ski touring, or winter hiking. But don't worry: The subsequent refreshment is, of course, also well catered for.
