Over 15 km, we get to know the landscape of the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park better and discover some natural gems.
Far away from the main road, you can really enjoy the landscape of Neumarkt. The Grasluppteich pond invites you to linger and rest - and even cool off on hot summer days. The stage itself offers fantastic views and quiet sections.

By car from Germany
From Munich via the A8 towards Salzburg. From Salzburg on the A10 Tauernautobahn to St. Michael im Lungau. Take the B 96 to Tamsweg, then continue on the B 95 to Predlitz. The B 97 leads via Stadl/Mur to Murau. There at the traffic circle take the exit towards Katsch an der Mur and Teufenbach.

Arrival from Eastern Austria/Hungary
At the highway junction in St. Michael bei Leoben, take the S 36 towards Klagenfurt. Drive past Knittelfeld and Judenburg to Scheifling. In Scheifling, turn right towards Niederwöl and Teufenbach.
Arrival from southern Austria/Italy
Via Klagenfurt on the S 37 past St. Veit/Glan, Treibach and Friesach. In Friesach continue towards Vienna, via Dürnstein and Wildbad to Neumarkt. In Neumarkt we keep right towards Mariahof. We continue straight ahead on the L 502 to Teufenbach.
The starting point for this stage is the train station in Neumarkt in der Steiermark. The route leads directly to the Grasluppteich pond and on to Zeutschach. There we turn left and cycle to Pöllau. At the parish church of St. Leonhard, we keep to the left and from now on we cycle steadily downhill past the Annakapelle chapel to St. Marein near Neumarkt.
