From Mühlen, the route leads along the asphalt road to the hamlet of Aich. Upon reaching St. Veit in the area, keep left and continue to the Wildbad thermal baths. Sure footing is required here! From Wildbad Einöd, the path leads south to the Gasthof Leitner inn. From there, you return through the forest to Wildbad Einöd. This section can also be shortened if desired. Following the road, turn left onto a forest track. This leads to the Hopfgarten pond and the Kohltrattenmoor moor – a hidden natural gem. Continuing along the forest track, you will pass above the historic Lind Castle. Here, however, stay on the west side of the castle and enter the woods of St. Marein near Neumarkt. At the Graggerschlucht gorge parking area, you will reach the crossroads to Neumarkt. Cross the railway tracks to reach Forchtenstein Castle. From here, the road leads back to the main square of Neumarkt.
