The family-friendly tour to the Esebeck Hütte begins from the Murtalerhof car park.

This moderately difficult hike provides one or two viewpoints of the municipality of Stadl an der Mur. The hike is far away from the main road, so you can really enjoy nature in the Murau region.

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Keep right here and continue straight on via Teufenbach, Frojach, Murau and St. Georgen ob Murau to Stadl an der Mur.

Coming from Tamsweg, follow the road via Ramingstein and Predlitz straight on to Stadl an der Mur.

From the starting point, Gasthof Murtalerhof in Stadl an der Mur, go towards Reitermühle (information board). Hiking trail no. 11 begins from the mill to Gut Koch. From here follow the red-white-red markings (hiking trail no. 130) to the Esebeckhütte.

The way back is on the ascent route.

Public parking spaces are available directly at the Gasthof Murtalerhof.
