On this not difficult ski tour, the untouched winter landscape of the Frauenalpe can be enjoyed to the fullest. Far away from the main road or gondolas, you can experience a wonderful day of ski touring in the Murau region.

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Turn right here towards Murau. In Murau turn left towards Schlatting. Follow the mountain road to the Gasthof Krische or the Murauerhütte.

Coming from Tamsweg via Ranten or Stadl an der Mur, always drive straight on to Murau. In Murau keep right towards Schlatting. Follow the mountain road to the Gasthof Krische or the Murauerhütte.

The starting point for this tour is the Murauer Hütte. Follow the path and turn left at the service hut. Here you walk through the forest under the Oberberg and over the ridge to the summit of the Frauenalpe.

The marble rock and the Apollonia Chapel offer shelter on windy days.

Public parking spaces are available directly at the Murauer Hütte.
