Information
Our Hotel is located on a gentle hill, in Mariahof, amidst the nature park Zirbitzkogel - Grebenzen.
Our peaceful garden overlooking the Zirbitzkogel is to read, rest or for a Trat Scherl with coffee and cake.
After a hike or a "nice golf game" is the covered swimming pool is right for cooling.
The sauna (infrared sauna, herbal sauna, steam bath) is to relax and unwind, massages and solarium for a fee.
Hiking taxi and hiking equipment are free
available.
The head of the house is responsible and enthusiastic for the physical well our guests with traditional vegetarian and local delicacies. Herbs and salads from our own home garden, water from their own source.
The rooms are, SAT / with balcony TV, hair dryer and free wireless.

Your hosts since 1968
In 1968, my grandparents, Linde and Johann Grasser, opened a small inn "am Vockenberg" in Mariahof. In 1975, it was expanded with a large dining hall and several rooms. Seven years later - in 1982 - the kitchen was enlarged, and the inn was expanded with more rooms, turning the small inn into a cozy Styrian guesthouse.
Finally, one of the 3 children was to take over. In 1988, my mother, Greti, took over my grandparents' business. Together with my father, Horst, they took care of the well-being of the guests. Of course, we three children also helped when time permitted. In 1989, they enlarged the dance hall in the basement, and renovations were done every few years.
Ten years later, a covered swimming pool was built, and in 2002, we expanded the lobby and added beautiful rooms along with a wellness area featuring a sauna, infrared cabin, and relaxation room.
In 2018, the inn was restructured. We now fully focus on accommodation and wish to provide you with an unforgettable holiday experience in the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park. Nevertheless, our hotel guests still have the option of breakfast, half-board (2-course choice menu), or various dishes from our menu.
In 2023, a new lounge was created as a place for meeting and relaxation. Whether to play, sit comfortably and chat, or for the little guests in the lovingly designed children’s corner – everyone will find their place here. A small bar also invites you to linger.
Since 2025, I, Petra, granddaughter of Linde and Johann, have been allowed to continue our traditional guesthouse in the third generation. With the active support of my family, I am continuing the established focus on accommodating our guests. Additionally, our generous dining hall is available for meetings, workshops, and conferences.
