Our guesthouse "Schallerwirt" is small, there fore we have lots of time to devote to our guests and yetlarge enough to offer good service. Guesthouse "Schallerwirt" is in summer an ideal starting point for walks alpine hiking tours. In winter we offer cross skiing and alpine ski tours. Our guesthouse lies at exactly 1350m above sea level on the plateau of the Krakau in Niedere Tauern, and is situated in the district of Klausen known as the sunny side of the Krakau. Amild climate with many hours of sunshine makes winter even at this high altitude pleasant for winter activities or for those just wishing to relax.

" From the West:
1st Tauernautobahn A10 - exit St. Michael im Lungau after the Tauerntunnel, via Tamsweg and Prebersee to Krakau.
2. tauern freeway A10 - exit Radstadt and over the well developed Radstädter Tauernpass (scenic, no toll)
Continue: via the B96 - Tamsweg - then via Prebersee to Krakau
Navi devices usually guide you via Seetal or Murau. Please be sure to enter the word "Prebersee". It is shorter and easier.
" From the East:
A2 Südautobahn then S36 - Semmering - Bruck/Mur - Judenburg - Scheifling - Murau. Here at the traffic circle at the height of Murau Castle turn right towards Ranten. Continue via Krakaudorf to Krakauebene and the district of Klausen.
