Information
Our house is located directly on the ski slope at Kreischberg at an altitude of 1750m - ideal for families and friends up to 19 people who want to spend their holiday in a cozy rustic alpine hut atmosphere. In winter, tobogganing and skiing from and to the front door, and in summer, pleasant hiking, fishing, swimming, or simply letting your soul dangle at the clear mountain lake. For cozy gatherings for larger groups, our house has a large common room. On the 1st floor of the Rieglerhütte, you will find 2 apartments (one for a maximum of 10 people and one for a maximum of 5 people). Additionally, we also have 2 double rooms that are ONLY rented in conjunction with the apartments. (Since we only operate the restaurant from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, after that you have to cater for yourself, and kitchens are only available in the apartments.)

From St. Georgen ob Murau towards St. Lorenzen. From the train station, follow Grabenstraße towards Pizzeria Silvano. From there, follow the marked mountain road for about 8km to Rieglerhütte. Arrival must be by 3:30 PM (at the valley station of the Kreischberg cable cars) or by 4:00 PM at Rieglerhütte, as the road conditions of our mountain road often do not allow driving up to the house by private car in winter, and you would have to take the gondola up. (Cable car operating hours in winter: daily ascents from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.) We will take care of a smooth luggage transport from the mountain station of the cable car to our house, after prior telephone arrangement with you!
