We, the Ortner Family, are pleased to have you visit our homepage. Here you can acquire a first impression of what a vacation with us can offer you. Enjoy your holidays in one of the most beautiful areas of Austria - simply stated, "Pure Nature"! For nearly a century, Ortner Inn has been providing exceptional service with local and international specialties, always prepared afresh. And for every meal in our comfortable dining room or in our spacious banquet area -- it seats 150 guests -- our wine cellar provides just the right wine selection. We offer 32 comfortable rooms, each with shower/WC, satellite TV, telephone, radio, and with some southern exposure balconies. Moreover our wifi area offers free internet access for our guests. - Stay connected during your vacation! Late night fans are entertained into the wee morning hours with music and dancing in our own cellar club "Rustica 1854". After a match on our private tennis courts you can be treated to home made ice cream treats and dessert pastries on our sun terrace or simply relax on our sunbathing lawn. After a strenuous day of winter skiing you can replenish your tanks over a glass of mulled wine (Glühwein) or a cup of "Jagatee" (hunter's tea - served with rum). For hiking friends we recommend a stop at our mountain cabin, where you immerse yourself fully in the upper Styrian countryside over a traditional evening meal served on a wooden board and the fresh farmer's carp. We newly introduced special hiking vacations with included guided tour, maps e.g. (Photos) Located on the Mur River Bike Trail, we invite bikers to spend some time in our biker-friendly restaurant. Furthermore, the Niedere Tauern Mountain Range is a perfect destination for motorcycle tours in any direction.(Photos) Our inn can also be the center of a restful vacation made to your liking, consisting of activities or quiet relaxation (in Styria we call it just 'being lazy').
