The Knappenwirt is a traditional family business from 1827.
We offer our guests relaxation and culinary delights in the heart of the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park.
The in-house shooting sports facility and the mini golf course provide fun and games at the house guest price.
Guests can also use the tennis court a few steps away.
The Knappenwirt is located directly on the Via Natura circular hiking trail. Here, hikers can take a variety of routes and then let the chef spoil them with culinary delights in our award-winning restaurant. We serve classic nature park dishes with excursions to modern cuisine.
It is a 15-minute walk to the public and accessible bathing lake.
The 18-hole Mariahof golf course is nearby (2 km).
The Grebenzen - St. Lambrecht ski area is a 15-minute drive away and the Kreischberg ski area is around 30 minutes away.

Payment Conditions
Prices from a minimum stay of 3 days, basis NF excl. tourist tax, half board from 3 days, children up to 3 years free in bed with parents, children up to 10 years 40% reduction in room with parents, supplement for 1-3 nights per person/day € 5.00, supplement for single room per day € 7.00, dog small € 12.00 per day, dog large € 16.00 per day, HP Deluxe (4-course gourmet menu) surcharge on Hp € 11, local tax € 1.50 from the age of 15.
Cancellation conditions:
Not so seldom it comes differently than one thinks and the booked vacation must be canceled or prematurely canceled.
There is no right of cancellation according to § 18 Abs. 1 Z. 10 FAGG, instead the general terms and conditions for the hotel industry AGBH 2006 apply:
Up to 3 months before arrival you can cancel free of charge.
3 months to 1 month before arrival we charge 40% of the travel price, 1 month to 1 week before arrival 70%, in case of cancellation within the last week before arrival and in case of early departure 90%.
