Surrounded by forest and meadows, the Rothenfels campsite is located in the beautiful nature of the Wölzertal. Enjoy the unique atmosphere, the fantastic view and immerse yourself in an intact fauna and flora.
The Rothenfels campsite offers its guests spacious pitches for mobile homes, caravans and tents. Camping is uncomplicated here, the pitches can be chosen independently, just as you like it. The site offers families, groups or long-term campers the opportunity to enjoy and discover nature. Its location impresses with a wonderful view and sufficient space for sports, games and fun. The possibility of lighting campfires invites guests to spend romantic evenings.
Some special features await our guests. The campsite is part of the historic Rothenfels Castle and is connected to the smallest historic town in Styria, Oberwölz. This common cultural past offers a lot worth knowing and the idyllic landscape invites you to linger. During walks in the forest, you will find many mushrooms in the area, which you can then prepare and enjoy with friends and family on site.
Our active guests also get their money's worth. Gentle, family-friendly and well-signposted hiking trails lead to the surrounding area and to the mountains not far away, where guests who are enthusiastic about sports can also find challenging tours. The managed huts in the Wölzer Tauern invite you to culinary delights and beautiful excursions lead you to breathtaking panoramic places.
