Information
Simply Being - in and with Nature
The Moarhube is located in a very special place - in Mariahof, in the midst of the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park. Here, nature takes the lead, inviting us to immerse ourselves in its rhythm, to arrive, and to find peace. At over 1,000 meters above sea level, one has the feeling of being above it all when witnessing the sun peeking through the trees in the morning or enjoying the sunset swaying on the covered veranda in the evening.
Winter is particularly enchanting - the winter landscape surrounding the holiday home is beautiful. A wide view over the broad valley landscape invites you to enjoy and relax. The cottage is primarily heated by a wood stove (additional heating elements are available in the sanitary areas). When the fire crackles in the stove and the sight of the flames warms the heart, the winter day can end comfortably.
The Moarhube is situated in a secluded location, offering space for up to 6 people (two bedrooms - one small and one larger), has a cozy living room with a well-equipped kitchen and a nice stove, and a small bathroom with a shower and separate toilet.
You can ski at the family ski mountain Grebenzen (15 minutes by car), at the foot of the Zirbitzkogel with the Tonnerhütte lift offering uphill tobogganing (25 minutes by car), or at Kreischberg (35 minutes by car). Winter hiking, ice skating, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, and much more - all of this is possible in the vicinity.
The Knappenwirt inn, known for its excellent regional cuisine, is within walking distance of the Moarhube - breakfast or half-board can also be booked there.
Stepping Out for a While
The Moarhube is mainly available for those who want to escape from everyday life, even for a longer period. I am happy to assist, upon request, in accompanying them according to their needs and finding the right framework, such as for one- or multi-day pilgrim hikes, nature walks, or rituals.

Check in possibility will be announced via SMS or email. Arrival via Hoferdorf/Knappenwirt - turn right in the direction of Berg - turn left directly at the Berg/Mariahof place-name sign into the field path. After 400 m you have arrived.
