Neumarkt in der Steiermark
With the combined heat and power plant, the woodchipper operates the largest heating plant in the district of Murau.
The wood chips, which are produced on site from wood from regional suppliers, are first used to produce wood gas, which already generates heat. The gas is then converted into electricity. Together with the company's own photovoltaic system, the plant itself can be operated practically energy self-sufficiently. This innovative idea of the family business was developed and implemented as a LEADER project of the Holzwelt.
