For more than 900 years, the Benedictine monastery of St. Lambrecht has shaped not only the local landscape of the beautiful nature park community but also the people in and around this place. Even today, the monastery connects the places and people of the nature park and creates many positive developments in peaceful coexistence.

TOURS - MEETING POINT: STIFTSTOR
In preparation for the 950th anniversary in 2026, the Stiftsmuseum is being extensively renovated and made accessible. From October 2024 to April 2026, part of the collections will remain open and accessible during guided tours: At the beginning of the tour, there will be a contemporary presentation of the history and present of the monastery. The folkloric collection of P. Romuald Pramberger and the bird museum of P. Blasius Hanf are part of the tour, as well as the impressive prelate hall with portraits of founders and abbots.
