In the midst of the old town of Murau in Styria, a historically grown house has stood for over 300 years, offering family hospitality and coziness. The inn, which has been awarded the "Kulinarium Steiermark," features a menu with a daily selection that may include changing (transregional) and (inter)national dishes. Depending on the season, the whims and moods of nature, you will find rooted local cuisine, recipes that have been passed down through generations in the family, and homemade desserts. The close cooperation with farmers, fishermen, and hunters from the region and all over Austria is reflected in lovingly prepared dishes. The wine cellar stores specialties from the classic Styrian and Austrian range, as well as excellent natural wines and a few rarities.
