A leisurely, child-friendly walk on asphalt road, passing a number of mountain farmsteads. The numerous viewing points offering lovely vistas of the Kreischberg are a perfect place for a break.
At the start of the tour, we walk past the parish church of Stadl an der Mur, dedicated to St. John. In essence a Romanesque church with a late Gothic appearance, it also displays Baroque and neo Gothic features. Along the route, numerous seating facilities invite you to take a break, offering a wonderful panorama of Stadl an der Mur, with its leisure centre plus bathing lake and the Almdorf Stadl chalet park. Running past mountain farmsteads, the walk provides unique insights into regional agriculture. In the upper part of the route, there is a great view of the slopes at the Sixpack chair lift in the Kreischberg skiing and hiking region.
