Beautiful circular hike from Mariazell to Rasing and on to Gußwerk.
On the way back we cross the Salza river, where we can cool off on hot days!

Coming from Bruck an der Mur via the B20 over the Seebergsattel and through Gußwerk. Always follow the course of the road.
Coming from St. Pölten via the B20 (Annaberg and Josefsberg) through Mitterbach and St. Sebastian. Always follow the course of the road.
Route: From Mariazell we walk on the Sandbühelweg to Rasing - before the bridge over the Salza we turn right to the path to the Sigmundsberg - we pass under the chapel and along a forest path to Gußwerk - then through the village and opposite the Steiermärkische Bank (vending machine branch!) on the Sauwandpromenade to the Oberkogelbauern - we continue to walk to the Salza - over the bridge - up to the settlement Annaburg and via Wr. Neustädterstraße back to the center.
There are refreshment stops in Gußwerk and then only again in Mariazell!
