Wind Park Pretul: Extreme Mountain Bike Variant

We start our tour at the Mürzzuschlag West motorway exit and take the asphalt mountain road up to the Bärenkogel. This route takes us past the Bärenkogel saddle via a forest path directly to the Ganzalm. Approx. 50 metres after the Naturfreundehaus on the Ganzalm, we turn left and take the Ganzweg in the direction of the Moschkogel. At the latest here - at the Moschkogel-Alm - we should take a short break for refreshments.

From the Moschkogel-Alm we head uphill again, this time to the Geiereck. Here we turn left to the Schwarzriegelmoor. From here, the route descends steeply to the Schwarzriegelalm and continues downhill via the Auersbach stream back to Mürzzuschlag.

Here we turn right at the main road and cycle along the R46 cycle path to Spital am Semmering. The path then leads us to the right over the Kaltenbachgraben. We cycle past the middle station of the Stuhleck mountain lifts and the Promibahn to the Friedrichhütte mountain inn. From the Friedrichhütte, we continue in the direction of the Steinbachalm and Schwarzriegelalm, where we had already been at the start of our tour.  Now we take the steep ascent up to the Schwarzriegelmoor and over the Geiereck and Pretul to the Roseggerhaus.

From the Roseggerhaus it is now all downhill for us - via the Ganzalm and the Bärenkogel to the starting point of our tour, Mürzzuschlag.

Take the train to Mürzzuschlag station. From here continue by bike in the direction of Hönigsberg. At the roundabout (near Gasthof Lendl) head towards Mürzzuschlag-Ganz. The road leading up to the Bärenkogel is on the right.
