Nature Park Valley Trail in Neuberg an der Mürz
Accessible by public transportCharacteristics
SkillThe tour in numbers
In the heart of the Mürzer Oberland Nature Park, in the far northeast of Styria, you can stroll – partially even barrier-free – through a tunnel cinema showcasing historical footage of the timber industry, all the way to the scenic Sieberwarte, the Grünangerkirche, and the famous Neuberg Abbey with its Kaiserhof Glass Manufactory and (from 2025) the new Nature Museum. The trail also leads to the panoramic Kalvarienberg, the barrier-free Schenkfeld promenade with the literary trail, and finally to the Urani Leisure Pond with a large sports and play area.
Along the entire route, several dining establishments, including a fine-dining restaurant, offer opportunities for a culinary break. In addition, a supermarket, a local "Speiskammerl" (regional food store), and other shops await all hikers.
The most eager can also climb Rabenstein near Neuberg Abbey and enjoy the magnificent views.
