From our starting point – Kalch – we hike left into the Kaiblinggraben. Shortly after the barrier, the marked trail branches off to the left into the forest. We follow this path and reach the Waldbauernhütte. Continuing along the trail over the mountain ridge and through the Anhangtor, we arrive at the Kleinveitschalm. Here, we turn onto trail number 401, which leads us to the Karoluskreuz. Following trail 401 further, we reach the Hocheck Alm. Our descent takes us via the Hofalm and the long, extended Alpenbachgraben back to our starting point, Kalch.
