This circular hike leads from the town center of Langenwang to Althönigsberg.

From Hotel Krainer, the route passes the municipal office and continues into Raingasse. The trail then crosses the Glawoggen Bridge, leading past Seppbauer and onward to Althönigsberg. From there, the hike returns via the Glawoggen Bridge and follows the Mürz Promenade back to Langenwang.

S6 Semmering Expressway – Exit Langenwang

We start our hike at Hotel Krainer and follow Wiener Straße until we reach the turnoff into Raingasse (turn left). At the end of Raingasse, we turn left into Mürzgasse and cross the Glawoggen Bridge.

After crossing the Südbahn railway, we continue along the paved road. At a crossroads, we turn right towards Seppbauer. From here, the path descends towards the western end of Althönigsberg.

We then pass under the railway again and walk along a small garden settlement and a few houses, eventually returning to the Glawoggen Bridge. The final stretch follows the Mürz Promenade back to our starting point.

Take the train to Langenwang station, then continue on foot directly to the town center of Langenwang.

Free parking is available in the town center of Langenwang.
