This trail is dedicated to a great son of Langenwang: the renowned musician and composer Franz Schöggl.
From the center of Langenwang to the Glawoggen Bridge. Afterward, the trail follows the southern slope of Langenwanger Mitterberg to Hahnriegel, and then continues along Lammeralmstraße back to Langenwang.

S6 Semmering Expressway - Exit Langenwang.
We start our hike in the town center of Langenwang, walking along Wiener Straße past the municipal office. We then turn left onto Raingasse, cross the Glawoggen Bridge, and follow the steadily rising Glawoggengraben, passing the historic lime kiln. Approximately halfway along the route, we reach the highest point of our hike near Hahnriegel. From there, we begin the descent and walk along Lammeralmstraße back to Langenwang.
The area around the Franz Schöggl Trail is known for its abundance of mushrooms!
