The traditional Gasthof Filzwieser, centrally located in the idyllic village of Mitterbach, reopend in April 2022 and is ready to host its guests in the cozy restaurant, in which a culinary mix of Austro-Hungarian cuisine is served.
For overnight guests, there are four simple but cozy double rooms and two triple rooms with bath/shower, toilet, hairdryer, TV and free WiFi. Hiking boots as well as ski boots can be dried easily in the boot and ski room. While a generous breakfast in the morning promises the perfect start to the day, later, the day can be reviewed over a tasty dinner.
Gasthof Filzwieser is located near to the Mitterbach train station (Mariazellerbahn) – you don’t need a car for your arrival! With Wilde Wunder Card, which you receive between May and October for your stay at the Gasthof, you get a discount of 50% for all journeys with Mariazellerbahn.
