Information
In 1780 Neuwald was settled by the people and family Herz built the foundations of today’s existing house. They ran a guest business until 1891/92. The inn was handed over to her daughter and her husband Karl Digruber. Karl Digruber died in 1943, whereupon his son Karl Jr. took over the guest business.
From 1966 to 1987 the inn was run by Erika, daughter of Karl Digruber jun. , and Josef Leitner (1981 t). In 1987 Erika closed down the guesthouse and ran only the guest rooms. When she then handed over the house to her son Hermann Leitner and wife Gudrun, they opened a snack station on June 6, 2002.
Since then we spoil you with our home cooking at 926m above sea level at the foot of the Mürzer Oberland Nature Park. After 12 years we have decided to call ourselves an inn and also offer our guests main dishes.
