Kunsthaus Muerz
Mürzzuschlag
The Kunsthaus Muenz primarily deals with contemporary art in the fields of music, literature, visual arts, and architecture.
In addition to various exhibitions, readings, concerts, and curator tours take place.
The three levels of the Kunsthaus Mürz serve the following functions:
The lower level, called Clix, is the event space for readings, cultural science events, and the concerts of the "Alternate" series.
The hall on the middle level is named after the author Walter Buchebner. This hall hosts large, predominantly theme-oriented exhibitions of visual art and architecture.
The upper level is the concert hall, which has phenomenal acoustics. This hall is named after Anton Webern, who often composed during the summer months while staying with relatives in Mürzzuschlag.
