Skiing deep snow is nice, but skiing deep snow and knowing what you're doing is even nicer. We will show you how avalanche awareness is useful in practice and how fun it is. You will learn everything about tour planning, how to lay the right track and experience the joys that every ski tour has in store.
First-class, experienced ski instructors and mountain guides will show you first on the slopes and then in deep snow how it's done.
The aim of the course is that you can then carry out easy ski tours independently with improved deep snow technique.

Suitable for
Parallel turns in light terrain.
Fluid and secure riding on red, medium-difficulty slopes; deep snow experience is not necessary, just fitness for a full day outdoors.

Requirements
You are a skier who feels comfortable on intermediate slopes. You want to make significant progress in ski touring in a short time. You do not need deep snow skills.

Depending on your wishes and snow conditions, we offer:
- Präbichl - an alpine classic! The freeride area in the center of Styria.
The Gesäuse and its side valleys surprise us with a wealth of magnificent ski tours. Short or long, steep or comfortable, we always find a suitable freeride passage here. Exactly according to your ideas and expectations.
Impressive nature and a small, but no less reliable ski area with absolute snow security, well into spring. - Obertauern - from the slope to the tour! The touring area: Between 1,600 and 2,300 meters above sea level, the ski slopes and ski routes as well as free skiing terrain are distributed. Away from Gamsleiten, Zehnerkar, and Seekar, we find wonderful touring possibilities. Chair lifts and drag lifts take us to the most beautiful slopes of varying difficulty levels. This saves energy and makes it easier to get into ski touring.
- Planneralm - the highest ski village in Styria! The touring area: For 100 years, the name Planneralm has stood for ski tours above the tree line. Impressive nature and a small, but fine ski area with absolute snow security, well into spring.
