It’s a special feeling to arrive here. A unique place, a well-kept secret.
The Glögglhof is the only surviving building of a once huge historical estate, which was also home to Archduke Johann and his family.
With countless steps and a lot of heart, the building has been completely renovated in the year 2021/22 and now corresponds to a high hotel standard.
A Hotel Garni, run by the Hochsteiner family, right at the foot of the Eisenerzer Alps, surrounded by a park with many rare species of trees and flowers, a pavilion, a pond and many other special places waiting for you to discover.
Immerse yourself, switch off, relax: you decide for yourself how much nature you need.
You can sit by the pond in peace and watch nature. Or you can observe the nature from your window in one of our garden lodges rooms. If you want to read a book in peace, the raised pavilion in the park is ideal. But also our conservatory or a secluded reading corner in the loggia of your room are a wonderful place to do so. You can also take advantage of the seclusion in our forest or take in the wonderful freshness and light splashing of the fountain.
Relaxation has many “faces” with us.
