Fundraising Concert of the Soroptimist Club Leoben
After the great successes in the years 2024 and 2025, the Vienna Classical Players (primarily musicians from the Vienna Symphony) under the direction of conductor Martin Kerschbaum will return to the Live Congress Leoben to open the year 2026 with musical vigor.
Following the Johann Strauss anniversary year 2025, Martin Kerschbaum has focused the 2026 program on renowned contemporaries of the waltz kings. You will hear works by Carl Michael Ziehrer, Carl Millöcker, Johann Schrammel, and Franz Lehàr, among others. And some unexpected musical surprises await you as well.
The well-known soprano Karina Benalcàzar will musically support the Vienna Classical Players. She studied singing at the Mozarteum Salzburg.
Tickets are available at oeticket, at the Josefee Pharmacy, from Dr. Karin Frisch, and at the Central Ticket Office Leoben.
By attending, you will not only experience a musical delight, as the net proceeds from our fundraising concert will help us support women and girls in the region in their education and training.
