The encounter of two worlds: In the musical highlight "Tarzan," the audience experiences a breathtaking jungle adventure alongside the title character. Spectacular original compositions, plenty of excitement, and a touch of romance create an entertaining live experience for the whole family!
The theater Liberi, known for its modern family musicals, presents the hundred-year-old story by Edgar Rice Burrough in a contemporary version. Imaginative costumes, a playful, colorful backdrop, and atmospheric lighting effects bring to life the jungle world where Tarzan resides. Musically, the audience is taken on a varied journey through different genres, impressively arranged and filled with deep emotions. A well-trained ensemble ensures that characters, music, and scenery blend into a unique whole on stage.
A young family suffers shipwreck and, hardly having landed on the African coast, is attacked by wild animals. A small boy is left behind, who is taken in by the monkey lady Kala and raised as her own child. However, even though Tarzan finds a home among the monkeys and a good friend in the monkey girl Tee, the leader Kerchak still makes him feel after years that he does not truly belong to them. The feeling of needing to find his place in the world grows even stronger when Tarzan first encounters humans. Professor Porter, his curious daughter Jane, and the dubious Olivia Clayton are on an expedition to explore the jungle. Over time, Tarzan and Jane grow closer, but then events take a dramatic turn and a great danger threatens Tarzan and his monkey family…
