The LE Running Event 2026 brings movement to the mountain city – a sports festival for young and old.
Our running event offers 10 exciting competitions for all running enthusiasts.
From the thrilling McDonald's Windlsprint to 3 children's races (approx. 500m, 1000m, and 2000m) to the inclusive Nordic walking competition – there is something for everyone.
The highlight of the event is the "66 Minutes of Leoben." The goal is to complete a distance of approximately 2km in 66 minutes in either individual or 3-person relay races as many times as possible. Along the way, 2 moderators, DJs, and at least 10 music groups will provide great entertainment, and thanks to the loop course, there is always something happening along the route.
For every kilometer run, we donate 66 cents to the Down Syndrome Center in Leoben-Hinterberg. Additionally, Lebenshilfe Leoben supports the production of the honorary prizes.
Furthermore, we also support the project Kinder.leben auf zeit.
