It’s probably me
The young cabaret artist from Lower Bavaria, Martin Frank, shot up like a rocket into the cabaret sky and now travels through the satire orbit like a comet. What he observes there is summarized in his third solo program:
Do you want to know what my new cabaret program is about? I have to disappoint you. I can't tell you today what number I will perform tomorrow. Maybe I will mock milk alternatives today and tomorrow I'll be diagnosed with lactose intolerance. Maybe I will make fun of gendering today and tomorrow I will feel like a hydrangea in the body of an orchid. Maybe I will publicly glue myself to the federal highway today and tomorrow I will privately go on a Mediterranean cruise with my mom.
But I should issue a trigger warning just in case. Because something in this program will surely hurt feelings. Be it my absurd observations from everyday life, expressed in my rural-rustic manner, or the one Italian aria that reminds you of your forceps delivery.
If you ask me, cabaret and comedy are more like a choice of person anyway. Either you can stand me and we will have a nice evening together, or you cannot stand me and will send me your mother-in-law. No matter how you look at it: it’s probably me!
