The Sonnenplateau Bad Aussee is an easy circular trail above the town of Bad Aussee. The Sonnenplateau Bad Aussee is an easily accessible circular trail above Bad Aussee, perfect for a leisurely walk or winter hike. Covering about 2.7 km, the route is classified as very easy and is ideal for families. It leads through forest sections and open areas where you can enjoy the winter sun and take in the stunning mountain panorama surrounding Bad Aussee.
The trail starts at the Narzissen Vital Resort, where ample parking is available. The prepared walking path runs alongside the cross-country ski trail, offering beautiful views of Mount Sarstein. It continues below the G'sund-Natur-Hotel Die Wasnerin and ends back at the starting point.
After the walk, the Narzissen Vital Resort invites you to relax in the warm thermal waters or enjoy coffee and cake with a view of the mountains.

At the next road, the path leads in the opposite direction again, below the Hotel Die Wasnerin and south of the Narzissen Vital Resort in the direction of Teichschloß. At the next intersection (another entry point for this hike) you return to the starting point.
