Tauplitz
The rustic Hechl Hut is located in Gnanitz, about nine kilometers away from the town Tauplitz and offers an idyllic rest spot in the midst of nature.
Gnanitz is easily accessible via various hiking trails and invites excursions of different difficulty levels. Those who value coziness can drive to the nearby parking lot and then take a stroll along an approximately 3.8-kilometer forest path to the Hechl Hut.
The hut hostess "Vevi" is available from Whitsun to October each from Thursday to Sunday starting at 11:00 AM at the Alm and treats guests to regional delicacies. Specialties to recommend are the Alm coffee and the homemade pastries.
In the Hechl Hütte grill evenings can be booked for birthday parties, excursions, or other occasions. If desired, a musician can also be organized to enhance the atmosphere.
