The Goaßhittn in Bad Mitterndorf is a rustic cider pub in the Ausseerland and is known as an excellent Kulinarium Steieramrk hut for homemade snacks, fine spirits, and genuine Styrian hospitality.

The Goaßhittn is a lovingly run cider tavern in the heart of Bad Mitterndorf, known for its authentic Styrian cuisine and cozy atmosphere. As an award-winning Kulinarium Steiermark hut, it meets the highest quality criteria regarding regionality, seasonality, and artisanal preparation – a true piece of Styrian culinary culture in the Ausseerland.

Typical snack specialties are served, such as potato cheese bread, Bradl bread, rag salad, sour sausage, and hearty Styrian cheese bread. These go well with the homemade spirits from our own production – like noble pear, hazelnut, apple, or larch – which can also be purchased on-site.

In the summer, the blooming beer garden with a view of the surrounding mountain landscape invites you to linger. The Goaßhittn is a popular meeting place for locals and guests alike and is also excellently suited for private celebrations or corporate events.
