As one of the four cross-country skiing centers in the Ausseerland Salzkammergut, Altaussee at the foot of the Loser mountain delights with its very own winter magic. Due to the high altitude around the Blaa Alm there is a high snow guarantee, which often makes it possible to use the cross-country trails until spring.

The snowy Dachstein Massif and the bizarre Toten Gebirge form a magical backdrop for your cross-country holiday.

Blaa Alm, length 4.5 km
Village Trail, length 1 km
Rettenbachalm Trail, length 0.9 km

The trails are groomed when the snow conditions are suitable.

Use of cross-country ski trails free of charge.

At the entrance in the Loser Skiarena (Ski School Haim) and at the inn Blaa Alm there is the possibility to donate a voluntary contribution for the cross-country ski trail preparation!
