Cross country skiing competition
The "Steiralauf" is a cross-country skiing competition that can be competed in various categories - a guaranteed legendary cross-country race that is being held for the 46th time. In addition to the 50 km and 25 km free technique race, there is also a 30 km classic race and a 10 km pleasure race. The younger participants can start at the Kids Race.
From 30th of January to 31th of January 2026, Bad Mitterndorf will once again be transformed into a cross-country skiing mecca. The organizing team once again promises a top-class cross-country event. The sporty everyman event inspires both hobby cross-country skiers and professional athletes.
It should also be noted that it is of course easier to run on the cross-country ski trails, which have been awarded the cross-country skiing seal of approval, in the midst of fantastic nature.
The start and finish area is located at the Grimmingtherme. Free opportunities to test skis and equipment, a valuable finish gift and perfect catering on the course, at the finish and in the Grimminghalle round off this popular cross-country skiing event.
