Information
The Torbauerhütte is located on the Tauplitzalm, right near the large parking lot.
In the self-catering hut, there are two identical apartments for up to eight people each. The apartments each have three bedrooms (two double rooms and one four-bed room). The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. The bathroom on the first floor is equipped with a shower and toilet. Another toilet is located on the ground floor. A shoe dryer in the storage room provides additional comfort.
The rustic wooden building made of spruce wood offers immediate access to the hiking trails of the Tauplitzalm. The cross-country ski trail passes by the hut and invites you to start directly from the front door into the snowy winter landscape. The slopes are also located in close proximity, allowing for quick and convenient access to ski enjoyment.

via the A2 Südautobahn, the S6 to St. Michael, continue on the A9 Phyrn-Autobahn, take the Liezen exit to the Trautenfels junction - turn off to Ausseerland

via the A1 Westautobahn, take the Regau exit as far as Gmunden, continue on the B145 as far as Bad Ischl, turn off into Ausseerland/Liezen
from Salzburg
via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
from direction Carinthia
via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen

Payment Conditions
The ascent to the Tauplitzalm is from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. (subject to toll)
In summer you can drive up to the hut by car. In winter, the car must be left at the parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. From the parking lot to the hut it is about 100 meters. Luggage transport is possible.
